After so many months with just the grays and browns of winter and early spring, the colors of the spring flowers are a welcome sight. The grass has greened up, and the phlox, daffodils, and magnolia are in full flower with pink, lavender, and yellow.
Although I am primarily a seascape painter, covering my canvasses with beaches, marsh grass, and ocean, these fresh hues are beckoning to me to set up my easel in the garden for a different painting experience.
